Q: What is included in the rental fee?

A: Complimentary ocean view guestroom, monogrammed bathrobes, bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries on your wedding night (with a minimum 75 guests).

All weddings include complimentary white linens, candles, microphone, podium, dance floor, head table, signing table, floorplan, easel and parking for bride and groom.

Q: Is parking included in rental fee?

A: Your Conference Services Manager would be happy to provide a group parking rate.

Q: When must decor be removed from the room?

A: All decor must be removed the evening of your event. Discuss with your Conference Services Manager if you have a specific request.

Q: Are candles allowed?

A: All candles used must be in enclosed containers.

Q: Can couples bring in outside catering?

A: Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier must provide all food, beverage and serving staff.

Q: Is there a cake cutting fee?

A: Yes, the cake cutting fee is $2.50 per person.

Q: Are bar facilities available and does the hotel charge labour?

A: Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier provides a bar and bartender. Guests must consume $350 in alcohol; otherwise, a labour charge of $25.00 per hour will apply (minimum 4 hours).

Q: Can couples bring in homemade wine?

A: Our liquor licence will not allow homemade wine or liquors to be brought into the hotel.

Q: Does the hotel have a SOCAN fee?

A: The SOCAN fee is mandatory when live or recorded music is played in a public venue:

  • Under 100 people – without dancing - $29.81
  • Under 100 people – with dancing - $41.86
  • Over 100 people – without dancing - $59.64
  • Over 100 people – with dancing - $85.80
  • Q: Does the hotel have a ceremony venue?

    A: Yes, the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier has a beautiful rooftop terrace for your wedding ceremony that can accommodate up to 150 guests.

    Q: When does the bar close?

    A: The bar closes at 12:00am midnight - however you are welcome to stay until 1:00am.
